What can I expect from my first appointment?
Your first appointment will be an opportunity to meet your therapist and have an initial assessment completed. This informal assessment will assist in gaining an understanding of your unique situation and create a treatment plan, so you and your therapist are on the same page. This information will be fed-back to your GP following your appointment.
From there, depending on agreed treatment, you will commence regular sessions to work towards your goals.
Do you offer sliding scale rates?
Concession rates are available, from as low as $69.00 out of pocket with a valid Mental Health Care Plan from your GP and a current Centrelink Healthcare card.
Do you offer online appointments?
Appointments are preferred in-person, however online and phone appointments can be arranged.
Do you support NDIS clients?
Individuals who have self-managed or plan managed funding are able to access services at The LikeMind Lounge.
I have private health cover, can I claim your services?
Services can be covered by most private health funds depending on provider and level of cover.
